Description

At the end of October 1974, I returned from a national tour with the Elektra Records glam-rock band, JOBRIATH.  By the beginning of March 1975, I realized I hadn't composed anything. I was supposed to be a writer, as my professional musician father demanded of me, if I were to seriously pursue a career in music. So, I put myself under the discipline of composing one song a week. By the end of the year, I had composed sixty-five songs. Getting cocky, I demanded of myself to now compose two a week. By the end of 1976, I had composed an additional one hundred songs--165 in twenty months. With the exception of three songs composed 1969, 1979 and 1980 respectively, this album compilation is from that fertile period.
